After purchasing or renewing a SafeConsole contract, you can refresh or reinstall your SafeConsole license to reflect any changes by following the steps below.



Refreshing your license:

  1. Access the license page by clicking License Info on the left side menu.
  2. Click the blue Refresh button at the top of the page. 
  3. A popup stating that the license was refreshed will appear. You may need to refresh your browser window to see any changes.


(On-Prem Only) Reinstalling your license:


On-Prem SafeConsole accounts on occasion may need to reinstall the SafeConsole License. Below are the steps to accomplish this


**Please note: License keys for Cloud accounts are handled on the server-side and should NEVER be reinstalled. If you run into an issue with your Cloud account license key please contact DataLocker Support.


  1. Access the license page by clicking License Info on the left side menu.
  2. Click the green Install New button at the top of the page.
  3. Put your product key in the box and click Activate.
  4. A message stating that the license was activated will appear. You may need to refresh your browser window to see any changes.
