The User and Device Details popup boxes are a convenient and easy way to see a user's or a device's specific details and perform actions. See below for a breakdown of each.
User Details
To access the User Details popup:
- Navigate to the Users page using the side menu
- Click either the popout button or the user's name
- The User Details box will pop up
From the User Details popup, users can view the following information:
From the User Details popup, users can do the following actions:
- Email the unique token to the user
- Click Send Email
- This button sends the User Added email, which can be edited in the Custom Email Templates.
- Change the user’s Name, Email, or OU Path
- Click Edit
- Change the appropriate text in the Information box
- Click Save
- Delete the user
- Click Delete
The User Details popup offers quick access to:
- User's geolocation
- In the Information section, click the IP address that's listed under Last Seen to see the user's geolocation
- User's devices
- Click the Device Serial Number to open the Device Details popup for that device
- User's device's geolocation
- In the Devices section, click the IP address in the Last Seen column to see that device's geolocation
Device Details:
To access the Device Details popup:
- Navigate to the Devices page using the side menu
- Click either the popout button or the device serial number
- The Device Details box will pop up
From the Device Details popup, users can view the following information:
From the User Details popup, users can do the following actions:
- Reassign the device to a different user
- Click Reassign device to another user
- Click the blue Assign button next to a user's name to reassign the device to them
- Change status
- Click the drop down menu button in the Status section
- Choose a status from the drop down menu as you would from the Actions menu on the Devices page
- Change Anti-Malware status
- Click the drop down menu button in the Anti-Malware section
- Choose a setting from the drop down menu
Configured by Policy: Allow the device's policy to control whether or not the device has anti-malware enabled
Always Disabled: Anti-Malware for this device will always be disabled, regardless of the policy assigned to it, and will NOT take up an Anti-Malware license seat
Always Enabled: Anti-Malware for this device will always be enabled, regardless of the policy assigned to it, and will take up an Anti-Malware license seat
- Reset the device password
- Click Reset Password
- The password reset popup will appear to proceed with the reset
The Device Details popup offers quick access to:
- Modify the assigned policy
- Click the Policy to edit the current policy
- Owner's page
- Click the Owner's Name to open the User Details popup for that user
- Device's geolocation
- Click the IP address in the Last Seen section to open the geolocation for the device
- Custom device information
- Click Add New to add a new custom information field, then click Save to save it
- Click the red X to delete an entry
- Note: Custom device information can also be toggled in the policy. Any custom fields entered in the Custom Information policy are unable to be removed in the Device Details popup.
