Error 3031 is when the device is configured to use a proxy server for Internet access, but no valid proxy server has been entered. This is usually only used if you are behind a secure network that uses a proxy server. This is fairly rare, and if you're behind a proxy server, you'll need to speak with your network administrator for the correct address.
The most common fix for this issue is as follows:
- Insert and unlock your IronKey device.
- Go to the Settings > Networks Settings menu.
- Select "Use System Settings". If this option is already enabled, select "Direct Connection".
- Click "Management" to save the change and return to the Applications List.
This will get you back online in most cases.
