Below you will find the steps to gather logs for support from your devices.

If you are submitting your log file to DataLocker Support so that we may fully reproduce your issue, it is best to let the application sit for a few minutes after enabling logs so that it can gather all pertinent information.

The log file can then be zipped and emailed to [email protected] or included with any current tickets.

Please note: Your devices must be running software versions 4.8.x or 6.3.2+

For devices running software version 6.3.2 and above

1) Plug the device into the computer.

2) Run the unlocker application.

3) Press and hold shift and left-click on the DataLocker logo.

4) You will receive a message stating that Debug Mode has been enabled.

5.) Your logs should be accessible via a text document on your desktop

For devices running software version 4.8.x*

*The DL3/FE devices must use the command line process listed below the screenshots*

1.) Launch the device executable in the Virtual CD partition mounted in Windows Explorer.

2.) Select Help from the menu bar then select About

3.) Select Restart to create the log file

The application will automatically restart and the location of the log file will be automatically open in Windows Explorer.

The log file can also be accessed by navigating to either

%appdata%\BlockMaster or %appdata%\DataLocker
