This is a known issue and only applies to S100, S200, and D200 devices. This error can be caused when an Admin tries to recommission two devices in a row.
Here's how to avoid it:
Update
- Update your devices to IronKey software release 2.5.3.0 or greater.
OR
Recommission Separately
- Recommission a device
- Click Management to go back to Control Panel
- Click Admin Tools > Recommission, then recommission the next device
- Repeat as needed
