We currently have no means of recovering ANY password from our drives.

For DL3 and Enterprise users:

If you are a DL3 or Enterprise customer, you may be able to contact your system administrator. If he or she has set an administrator password, he or she may be able to recover your data. If your administrator cannot assist, our support team has no means of assisting with this matter.

By default, the Enterprise device allows for 9 failed password attempts before it self-destructs and the DL3 allows for 10 failed password attempts. After the drive has self-destructed, it erases the encryption key and the drive returns to its default state; the password is 000000.

For Sentry users:

If you are a Sentry user, and use a centrally manageable system, you may be able to contact your system administrator. Your administrator should be able to reset the password for your drive. If your administrator cannot assist, our support team has no means of assisting with this matter.
By default, the Sentry gives you 20 failed password attempts before it self-destructs. After the drive has self-destructed, it erases the encryption key and the drive returns to its default state, letting you create a new password.
