How to Enable Management of a Sentry One Device
The following article details the process to move your Sentry One (optionally managed)
device to a managed state so it can be managed by SafeConsole.
Important Note: Once a Sentry One Device is managed by SafeConsole, the drive cannot be reverted back to an 'unmanaged' state.
Steps:
Step 1: Connect your device to a USB Port and launch the Unlocker.exe
Step 2: When the following screen appears, agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA)
and click ‘Continue’.
Step 3: Enter a Password and Confirm.
Step 4: Select the file system to format the device.
Step 5: When the following screen appears, click on the ‘Gear’ icon.
Step 6: Select ‘Tools’ from the left hand side panel and then click on ‘Manage’
Step 7: The following screen will now be displayed allowing you to enter your SafeConsole Connection Token in order to manage the device.
