** BEFORE UPDATING YOUR DEVICE, PLEASE VERIFY YOU HAVE BACKED UP YOUR DATA. **
1. Download the latest updater application for the DL4 FE device: https://datalocker.com/device-updates
2. Connect the DL4 FE to your Windows machine
(please keep in mind that a physical Windows machine running at least Windows 7 is required to update the device)
3. Enter the password on the DL4 FE screen.
4. Select CONNECT.
5. Once the drive is detected, select Start Update.
6. Wait until the update is complete and you are prompted to safely unplug the device, then click OK.
7. Enter the password on the DL4 FE screen and select CONNECT.
9. Confirm the device mounts correctly to the Windows machine.
