If you are having trouble getting your DataLocker to power on or connect, please try the following;
1. Use a Y-cable. A Y-cable will have two male USB type A connections that can be connected to a computer simultaneously for additional power.
2. Use a powered USB hub. A powered USB hub gets additional power from an external source (separate from the computer).
3. Try using a different cable for your drive.
4. Try using a different USB port for your drive. Some USB ports on the front of desktop computers carry less power than the backports. Try connecting to a USB port in the back of the machine to ensure adequate power.
