The DataLocker H100 and H200 can be configured to use multiple partitions / users up to a maximum of 10 partitions. These partitions are kept completely separate from each other. In this regard two partitions cannot be unlocked at the same time. If using the H200 Biometrics a total of 10 fingerprints can be registered to the device. 


How to setup Multiple Users


First start by backing up everything on the device, then recommission the device. 

Once it has been recommissioned, run the start.exe and bring up the user interface then click "personalize device" then select next, then select CUSTOM for the Device Personalization options.

Select whether you would want a password or biometric or both authentication.


Select the number of users you would like to have.  Each user will have a separate partition that only that user can access


There is a maximum of 10 users that can be set up on the device.

You would need to set a password policy. This password policy will apply to all passwords, including the Administrator Password.



  




Be sure to use a DEVICE MANAGEMENT CODE THAT YOU WILL NOT FORGET, and be sure that other administrators have this MANAGEMENT CODE.  

Warranty will NOT cover lost management codes.

Be sure to set the proper ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD.  This is the PASSWORD that will be used to reset the user's passwords on the device and will also be used to make any administrative changes to the device.  


WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER FORGOTTEN ADMIN PASSWORD.

Be certain that you set up an administrator and keep that password.

You will NEED TO USE THAT PASSWORD TO DO GET BACK INTO THE DRIVE AFTER THE END USER IS DONE WITH IT.

You can only have a total of 10 fingerprints enrolled in the device.  Next it will ask for you to setup each user's passwords.  

You should have the end users with the device once you get to this part, as they will need to be present to enroll a fingerprint.

This last step will be repeated for each user you have enrolled in the device.
