At times a user may receive the following pop-up error messages when attempting to unlock their IronKey:
This can occur because the secure channel to the Identity Manager information becomes inaccessible. You will need to lock the device and then unlock it again to resolve the issue. The best way to exit out of this is the following:
- Press and hold the "Esc" key until all the pop-up dialog boxes are gone.
- You should now be able to lock your device and remove it from your computer.
- Re-insert the device and unlock it.
The error should no longer be displayed.
